AI becomes useful when it takes over a piece of real work: reading customer feedback, classifying documents, preparing a reply, orchestrating tools.
It becomes painful when it lands as a magic layer on top of everything, with no evaluation, no limits, and nobody able to explain what just happened.

I have orchestrated autonomous agents in production, connected to the tools teams already use.
Generative AI engineer and AI builder
LLM pipelines, trained classification models, evaluation with Langfuse: tests, LLM judge and human review.
Four principles
AI has to be situated
A useful agent knows its perimeter, sources, permissions and limits. If it does not know, it says so.
Design creates trust
Readability, speed, calm, traces. Visual effects never replace clear information.
Small works better
We prefer a narrow system that works every week to a broad promise nobody can maintain.
Taste matters
An internal tool can be sober and beautiful. A commercial page can sell without shouting.
